We ARE The Knowbodies and this is our labor of love. As each member has their own personal grind to make dollas or eventually make dollas, the album emerged out of 3 relationships that faced grimey ends. As we considered and philosophized about our various loves for music, women, art and life, and the way technology subsumes our activities, we decided to emerse ourselves @ Black Frame Studios and record. From Oct. 09 through June 2010, our 6 man collective came together with copious amounts of alcohol and other stimuli to record near 30 songs. Over the next month we will upload the top 12 songs. We have no pretense of fame or rap glory as all the rules on records, labels, albums, artist-fan relationships and technology are being rewritten. But this is our art and how it vascillates beetween love (creative energy) and machine (work/modern society)... feel it
